Three people were taken to hospital after two separate crashes in Somerset on Saturday night.
In the first, just after 1830 BST, two cars were in collision on the Roemead Road at Binegar near Shepton Mallet, trapping a person in each vehicle.
The roof of one car and a passenger door of the second had to be cut off to free them.
In the second incident, one person was hurt in a two-car crash on the Axbridge Road, Cheddar, just before midnight.
