Man threatened with knife during armed robbery in Bath

A 41-year-old man was threatened with a knife during an armed robbery in Bath.
Police were called to Swallow Street on Friday morning following reports of the incident.
A force spokesman said the man had come out of his house to use a cash machine and was approached by his attacker on his way back home.
"He was threatened with a black-handled kitchen knife and told to hand over his wallet which contained cash and bank cards, " the police spokesman said.
"The robber ran off in the direction of the Marks and Spencer store.
"He is described as six-foot tall, very slim with shoulder-length greasy brown hair and was unshaven.
"The attacker was wearing a short canvas-style thick black jacket, jeans and a black woolly hat.
"Anyone who witnessed the robbery, which happened at 10am on Friday, is asked to contact police or Crimestoppers," he added.
