Police name Somerset boy killed in telegraph pole crash

A 17-year-old boy who was killed when the car he was driving hit a telegraph pole has been identified by police.

David Church, who lived at Welton, near Radstock, was pronounced dead at the crash site on the A362 at Buckland Dinham, near Frome, on 22 February.

It is believed the Mini he was driving left the road after a right-hand bend and hit the pole.

A police spokesman said investigators were renewing their appeal for information.

"Anyone who saw the accident which happened near Orchard Leigh golf course at 10:15pm on 22 February, is asked to contact police," he added.
