A date has been set to reopen Midsomer Norton library following extensive repair works after severe flooding.
Bath and North East Somerset Council said the facility would open on 6 June after repairs to heating pipes which burst at Christmas.
About 300 books, worth £4,000, were destroyed and had to be replaced, as did carpet and furniture.
Opening times at Radstock library, which were extended during the work, will revert back to normal.
Liberal Democrat councillor David Dixon said: "The council has worked extremely hard to get this important facility up and running following the terrible damage caused by the worst winter weather in recent memory.
"We have taken this opportunity to introduce some improvements as well as make the repairs.
"I know how highly Midsomer Norton residents value their library as a hub of activity for the community, so the reopening is excellent news."
