Police name Bridgwater crash victim as Thomas O'Neill

A man who died after a road accident in Somerset has been named by police.

Thomas O'Neill, 29, from Bridgwater, died after being hit by a car on the A38 Bristol Road, by the Cross Rifles roundabout in Bridgwater, on Saturday.

He was taken to Musgrove Park Hospital with serious head injuries but died soon after.

Two men, aged 27 and 32, have been arrested for dangerous driving. They have been released on police bail, pending further enquiries.
