John Ivison named as Lympsham motorcycle crash victim

A 76-year-old motorcyclist killed in a crash with a car in a village in Somerset has been named as John Ivison.

Mr Ivison, from Exeter, died in the collision on Rectory Way in Lympsham, about six miles (9.6km) from Weston-super-Mare, shortly after 15:30 BST on 24 June.

Officers said a man was arrested but has been released on bail without charge.

Police are continuing to appeal for witnesses to come forward.
