Repair plan for Bath's recycling centre

Bath's recycling centre is to be closed for two months for repair work on the facility's flooring.

The city council said the Midland Road centre had been worn by constant use and special hard-wearing concrete would be used in the repair.

"Unfortunately, the closure is unavoidable to ensure we can carry out these repairs as quickly as possible to reopen the facility," said a spokesman.

The closure is planned to take place from October.

The nearest recycling centres to the city are Keynsham and Midsomer Norton.
