Catherine Wells-Burr death: Boyfriend Rafal Nowak charged
The boyfriend of a woman whose body was discovered in a burning car has been charged with conspiring to murder her.
Catherine Wells-Burr was found in her Ford Focus near the A358 in Ashill near Ilminster, Somerset, on 12 September.
Rafal Nowak, 31, is due to appear before Bristol Magistrates' Court on Wednesday.
Anna Julia Lagwinowicz, 32, has also been charged with conspiring to murder the Bath Spa University graduate. A 38-year-old man remains in police custody.
Detectives investigating the death have been stopping drivers on the A358 close to where Ms Wells-Burr's body was found a week ago.
A community contact vehicle has been parked at the location to allow drivers to leave their details.
Det Ch Insp Simon Crisp, who is leading the investigation, is keen to hear from anyone who saw a red Ford Focus five-door hatch-back with another vehicle.
Ms Wells-Burr's parents Jayne and Phil have paid tribute to their daughter, describing her as "an amazing, special person" who was "caring, loving and had a bubbly personality".
In a statement, her family said: "Catherine had achieved so much in her short life and had worked so hard to gain her Bachelor of Honours in business management, gaining a first class degree from Bath Spa University.
"She was so happy starting her life with Rafal and excited about their future together."
'Hard to understand'
The family also thanked people for their support since her death, adding that they had "found some comfort in all the kind and thoughtful words that have been said about Catherine and in knowing how well she was loved.
"We have found this hard to understand why someone would have done this to her.
"There are no words to express how we feel about what has happened to her. We desperately need to know why. She will be sadly missed."
Ms Lagwinowicz was remanded in custody by magistrates in Bristol on Tuesday.
She will appear next at the city's crown court.
Ms Wells-Burr worked as a business analyst in Numatic International in Chard.
