Three men in court over Bath tipper truck crash

Three men have appeared in court charged in connection with a tipper truck crash which killed four people.

Peter Wood, 55, is charged with manslaughter while Philip Potter, 20, and Matthew Gordon, 29, face a number of charges relating to the crash in Bath on 9 February 2015

Mitzi Steady, four, from Bath, Robert Parker, 59, from Cwmbran, Phil Allen, 52, and Stephen Vaughan, 34, both from Swansea, were all killed.

A trial will take place in November.

Mr Potter had applied to have his charges dismissed but his request was adjourned at Bristol Crown Court until a trial judge has been appointed.
