Man, 18, 'stable' after alleged taxi dispute in Maltby

An 18-year-old man who was seriously injured when he was hit by a taxi in Maltby is now in a stable condition in hospital, police have said.

The incident happened on Disraeli Grove on 15 August, following an alleged dispute over a bill.

South Yorkshire Police said the man was now in a stable condition in Rotherham General District Hospital.

A 27-year-old man arrested in connection with the incident has been released on bail.

South Yorkshire Police appealed for witnesses to contact them.
