Police link stabbing and attack in Leeds

A stabbing and a gang attack in Leeds could be linked, police believe.

At about 1535 BST on Thursday, police received a report that a 21-year-old man had been stabbed in Rossefield Drive, Bramley.

He was taken to hospital for treatment and later discharged. At 2327 BST on the same day, a 33-year-old man was hit by a car, also in Rossefield Drive.

He was attacked by a group of men from the vehicle and seriously injured. He was taken to hospital to be treated.

Police are appealing for witnesses.
