Driver killed in crash into ditch in South Yorkshire

A driver from South Yorkshire was killed when his car left the road and crashed into a ditch.
Police said the 63-year-old man's Citroen C5 left the B6090 Hoober Lane, Rotherham at 0640 BST on Thursday.
After leaving the carriageway, the Citroen mounted a grass verge before travelling down a ditch and coming to rest on its side.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene. Police said they did not believe any other vehicles were involved.
