A 17-year-old mother whose body was found in a Rotherham canal died from stab injuries, police have said.
The body of Laura Mary Wilson, who had a four-month-old daughter, was pulled from the Sheffield and South Yorkshire Navigation Canal on Tuesday.
South Yorkshire Police said four people arrested on suspicion of murder had been released on bail.
Miss Wilson was last seen on 9 October. Police said a post-mortem examination found she had died from stab injuries.
A 17-year-old boy and three men aged 22, 26 and 44 have been released on bail, pending further inquiries.
Police are appealing to anyone who saw anything suspicious in the Steel Street area of Rotherham between Saturday evening and Tuesday afternoon to contact them.
