Inquiry as man dies after being attacked in Sheffield

A 31-year-old man has died after he was assaulted in Sheffield city centre.
South Yorkshire Police said the man was confronted by another man, who is believed to have been with a group of up to five other males.
The incident happened outside the DQ Bar on Fitzwilliam Street at 0400 BST on Sunday.
The man was taken to the Northern General Hospital with serious head injuries, where he died. Police are appealing for witnesses.
A force spokesman said a post-mortem examination was expected to be carried out on Sunday.
