Sheffield council is offering free Christmas tree collections to residents in the city.
The authority said it hoped people would make use of the service so the trees could be used for composting.
Residents can arrange for the trees to be collected outside their homes, or they can taken them to one of a number of collection points.
Further information on collections can be found on the council's website or at www.veolia.co.uk/sheffield.
The council said the last date for collections was 10 January.
