Biker killed in collision near Stannington named
A motorcyclist killed in a crash in South Yorkshire has been named by police.
Matthew Thomas Bradley died after his bike collided with a car at the crossroads of Manchester Road and Rivelin Valley Road near Stannington.
South Yorkshire Police said the 38-year-old, from Richmond, Sheffield, died at the scene on Monday.
A 25-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.
Police are appealing for witnesses and particularly want to speak to a group of bikers, the driver of a camper van and a cyclist, who were in the area at the time.
