Barnsley party burns victim named as Steven Simpson
An 18-year-old man who died following a party in Barnsley has been named as Steven Simpson.
South Yorkshire Police said Mr Simpson was at a party at Pleasant View in Cudworth on Saturday when he sustained burns.
Mr Simpson died in Pinderfields Hospital in Wakefield at about 23:40 BST on Sunday.
Police said six people had been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder.
Three men, between 19 and 39 years old, and two teenagers have been bailed. A 16-year-old girl was released due to insufficient evidence.
The five people who have been bailed are all from Barnsley.
Results from a post-mortem examination, which took place on Monday, are due to be released.
Police would like to hear from anyone who has information about the incident.
