Powder thrown at Sheffield bus driver

Powder has been thrown at a bus driver during an assault in Sheffield.

Emergency services received a call at about 17:50 BST on Monday after reports of an incident on Redmires Road.

The powder thrown at the driver is believed to be flour. The driver, who is not believed to have suffered serious injuries, received treatment in hospital.

South Yorkshire Police are asking anyone who witnessed the incident to contact the force.
