Sheffield Wednesday football club has banned two supporters after a flare was let off at an away game.

Two people were arrested on suspicion of "throwing a missile" at Saturday's match against Queen's Park Rangers at the Loftus Road ground in London.

The Metropolitan Police said a 17-year-old was cautioned and a 19-year-old was released without charge.

Sheffield Wednesday said it was "unacceptable behaviour" and have banned the pair from all its matches.

A spokesman for the Championship club said the ban would be reviewed in the future.
