Man dies after Sheffield stabbing

A 45-year-old man has died from his injuries in hospital after he was stabbed in the chest in Sheffield.

South Yorkshire Police said the man, who has not been named, died earlier at the city's Northern General Hospital.

The attack at the junction of Dixon Lane with Haymarket happened on Friday, police said.

Detectives investigating the case have charged two men in connection with the inquiry. A third man has been arrested on suspicion of assisting offenders.
