Teenage girl attacked near Darnall railway station

A teenage girl has been sexually attacked near a railway station in South Yorkshire.

The 16-year-old was walking in the Darnall area of Sheffield when she was assaulted on 29 May.

The incident occurred at around 22:00 BST on a footpath between Staniforth Road and Darnall railway station.

South Yorkshire Police said the girl was subjected to a serious sexual assault and is urging witnesses to come forward.
