Doncaster quarry search teams recover body
Police divers searching a lake for a man who went swimming in a quarry in South Yorkshire have found a body.
Officers were called to Hurst Lane in Doncaster on Monday after reports of a man getting in trouble in the water.
South Yorkshire Police said it was believed that a group of men were swimming in the water at about 21:10 BST when one went missing.
Search teams recovered the body of a man in his 20s from the quarry, known locally as Clay Lake, at about 12:30.
The force said officers were still trying to establish the full circumstances surrounding his death, but did not think it was suspicious.
The man has not been formally identified.
