Rotherham man arrested on historical child sex offences
A man has been arrested on suspicion of historical child sexual exploitation (CSE) offences in Rotherham.
The 32-year-old is being questioned over allegations involving two girls under 16-years-old between 1990 and 2003.
He is the twelfth man to be arrested by South Yorkshire Police as part of Operation Clover.
It is one of a number of investigations into CSE being conducted by the force and the National Crime Agency.
They were launched in response to a report by Dr Alexis Jay in 2014, which said up to 1,400 girls were abused in the town by gangs of predominantly Pakistani men between 1997 and 2013.
