Ticket touts and those trying to sell counterfeit tickets and goods at the V Festival in Staffordshire are being targeted by trading standards teams.

Staffordshire Council said it will have officers patrolling car parks and campsites from Friday until Monday trying to stop fraudulent sales.

The festival, held at Weston Park, is mainly on Saturday and Sunday although campers can arrive on Friday.

Kings of Leon and Kasabian are among the headlining acts.
