Police have released CCTV footage of a missing Polish woman who is believed to have been murdered.

A 29-year-old man has been charged with murdering Sylwia Ciapcinska, of Ash Street, Burton upon Trent, but her body has not been found.

The footage shows the 24-year-old shopping in the town centre on 20 July, the last known sighting of her, Staffordshire Police said.

Anyone with information is urged to contact police.

'Massive void'

Supt Ian Grant said: "It's now four weeks since Sylwia went missing and, for the sake of her family and the police inquiry, we need to trace her.

"We need people to think hard about whether they saw Sylwia - either in the town centre or walking the ten to 15 minute journey home.

"We also want to establish if Sylwia was with anyone else that lunchtime."

Last week her family paid tribute to her adding that her disappearance has left a "massive void" in their lives.
