Sister calls for answers over Chasetown killing
The sister of a man who was fatally shot at his Staffordshire home said she "wants some answers" about his death.
Richard Deakin, 27, died after he was shot in the chest at his house in Meadway Street, Chasetown, on 5 July.
His sister Marie Deakin appealed for information, adding: "Richard and I laughed a lot together and he really looked out for me."
Two men have been arrested in connection with the father-of-two's death and released on bail.
Ms Deakin said she missed her brother a lot.
"I feel like I just want him to come home. It is really hard for me to deal with him not being here anymore," she said.
"I just want to pretend what has happened isn't real, but it is.
"My eldest son Alfie, who is five, really misses his Uncle Rich too. He talks about him all the time. Alfie really reminds us of Richard.
"I feel that somebody somewhere knows something and I want to encourage them to come forward and say it."
Staffordshire Police said a detailed inquiry into his death was being carried out by its Major Investigation Department.
Det Ch Insp Dave Garrett said it was "complex investigation" but progress was being made.
