A man who was fatally stabbed in a fight in Stoke-on-Trent has been named by police.

Officers were called to reports of a fight in Bond Street, Tunstall, on Monday and found 30-year-old Andreas Fantousi with serious stab wounds.

He died later in hospital and police are treating his death as murder.

His mother Abigail said Mr Fantousi was a loving and caring son, who would be missed by his family and his two young sons who are three and one.

"He was a devoted father to his two sons and would say to them 'love you to the moon and back'," she added.

Detectives were granted a 36-hour extension on Thursday to question two men and two women arrested in connection with his death.
