Dog orders introduced in Staffordshire Moorlands

Dog control orders are to be introduced in the Staffordshire Moorlands.

Anyone who does not clean up after their dog could be fined £80.

Owners will also have to have to put their dog on a lead if told to by an authorised officer.

The order applies in all children's play areas, two cemeteries in Leek and in several parks or green spaces following a district council decision on Wednesday.
