A boy who was in a critical condition after falling through a roof a year ago has led out a team at a Premier League football stadium.
Stoke City fan Thomas Buckett, 17, was found in the grounds of Clayton Hall Business and Language College, Newcastle-under-Lyme, on 30 May 2010.
A team headed by ex-England goalkeeper Gordon Banks were beaten 3-1 by TV soap stars at the Britannia Stadium.
Money raised will go to University Hospital of North Staffordshire.
The hospital, which treated Thomas, said cash from Sunday's game, as well as from a charity dinner and auction in the evening, would benefit its paediatric intensive care unit.
The teenager fractured his skull in 10 places when he fell 15ft (4.5m) through a skylight.
Fire crews had to open school gates and force their way into the building.
Thomas's mother Mandy Buckett said her son was "an amazing miracle".
Speaking ahead of the game, she added: "They said that he probably wouldn't walk and they did say he would never ever kick a ball again.
"Really for three weeks nearly they didn't know that he was going to even survive.
"When we think where Tom was this time last year... to be walking out on the pitch that he loves so much, actually walking, is going to be absolutely amazing."
Alan Halsall, who plays Tyrone Dobbs in Coronation Street, was named as captain of The Allstars team taking on the Gordon Banks XI, including former footballers and fundraisers, on Sunday afternoon.
