A man has been arrested over a fatal crash near Lichfield in which a moped rider was killed.

Benjamin Warrington, 24, of Agincourt Road, Lichfield, was killed shortly before 05:30 GMT on 21 February.

The incident happened on the A38 just north of the Streethay slip-road. Police said a lorry involved in the collision did not stop at the scene.

A 43-year-old arrested in connection with the matter has been released on police bail.

Staffordshire Police said they would like an anonymous caller who contacted them from a phone box in West Bromwich on Tuesday afternoon - a week after the crash - to contact them again.
