Motorcyclist dies in Tamworth crash

A man was killed in a crash involving two motorbikes in Staffordshire.

The collision happened on the A5 near to Ventura Retail Park, Tamworth, just before 15:15 GMT.

The motorcyclist, who was found to be in cardiac arrest, was given advanced life support treatment but sadly died, the ambulance service said.

Another motorcyclist, also a man, was assessed at the scene but did not require treatment at hospital.
