More than 40 firefighters have been tackling a fire which began in farm equipment in Suffolk.

The blaze began at Hill Farm, Shotley Road, in Chelmondiston, near Ipswich, shortly before 1400 BST, and created a large plume of smoke.

The fire spread to nearby woodland but crews managed to prevent the fire affecting an adjacent equestrian centre.

Firefighters are expected to be at the scene for some time, a spokesman said.
