A new car park has opened in Suffolk to replace a multi-storey which was knocked down because of structural problems.

The Crown Street car park in Ipswich has 150 spaces, with the site's full capacity of 227 spaces expected to be available by the end of August.

The multi-storey car park on the same site could accommodate more than 1,000 vehicles before it closed in October.

Thousands of tonnes of concrete were recycled after its demolition.
