Drink driver jailed over fatal crash in Suffolk

A 25-year-old man has been jailed for two years for a crash in Suffolk which left his passenger dead.
Thomas Ward's car left the A1094 Aldeburgh road at Friston, hit a telegraph pole and ended up in a ditch on 21 November.
Luke Barham, also 25, of Saxmundham, died soon afterwards in hospital.
Ward, of Aldringham Park, Leiston, admitted death by careless driving when under the influence of drink at Ipswich Crown Court on Tuesday.
He was also banned from driving for two years.
