Men charged over Suffolk armed robberies

Two men have been charged in connection with two armed robberies in Suffolk.

Staff were threatened and cash was taken from the McDonald's on the Chilton industrial estate in Sudbury on Friday night.

And in the second armed robbery the Co-Op in Lavenham was targeted on 9 August.

The two men, aged 24 and 25 and from King's Lynn, were arrested on Saturday. They are due to appear before magistrates in Bury St Edumunds.
