Suffolk woman, 25, charged with arson and child abuse

Suffolk police have charged a woman with arson with intent to endanger life, child abuse and intending to pervert the course of justice.

The 25-year-old woman of no fixed abode will appear before Bury Magistrates on 6 September.

A man and a woman were injured in a fire at a flat in George Lambton Avenue in Newmarket on 15 December 2009.

It follows investigations by West Suffolk CID and the Child Abuse Investigation Unit.
