Man is charged with rapes dating back to 1990s

A 53-year-old man has been charged with rape and indecent assault following an investigation of alleged offences dating back to the 1990s.

Stuart Greener, of The Oaks, Wattisfield is charged with four counts of rape, one relating to an adult and three relating to a girl aged under 16.

He is also charged with five counts of indecent assault and possessing an air weapon when prohibited.

He has been remanded in custody to appear before Bury magistrates later.
