Woman raped in Sudbury town centre attack

A 25-year-old woman was raped after accepting a lift in a car from a man in Suffolk.

The woman was in Sudbury town centre on Friday night and spoke to two men. She was later walking along Cornard Road when one of the men offered her a lift.

She got in and was taken to a nearby car park where the man raped her.

The man was black, aged in his 20s, 5ft 6ins to 5ft 8ins, with short black hair and was wearing blue jeans, a purple top and white trainers.

He was driving a silver Peugeot car.

Anyone with information about the incident is asked to contact police.
