Man arrested and bailed over Sudbury car park rape

A Suffolk man has been arrested in connection with the rape of a woman in Sudbury.

The 25-year-old victim spoke to two men in the town centre on Friday night.

As she walked along Cornard Road one of the men offered her a lift. She got in and was taken to a nearby car park and attacked.

A 27-year-old man from Sudbury has been released on police bail to return to Bury St Edmunds police station on 15 December.
