Historic Suffolk hall winds clock forward

A historic hall in Suffolk has wound its clocks forward instead of back to show daytime visitors what evening life in the property would have been like.

Melford Hall has put the clocks forward for Saturday and Sunday only.

The National Trust has decorated the hall as if a social gathering is about to take place.

House Manager Josephine Waters said she wanted to give visitors a "completely different experience" and a "whole new atmosphere".
