Bid to find family in Ipswich murder inquiry
- Published

Police in Suffolk attempting to trace the relatives of a man they believe to have been murdered have taken the unusual step of releasing his name.
A body thought to be that of Martin Edwards, 45, was found at an address in Old Foundry Road in Ipswich on Christmas Day.
Police said it was Mr Edwards' flat, although formal identification has yet to take place.
Earlier on Monday police were given extra time to question four people.
Three men, aged 28, 27 and 51, and a 36-year-old woman, all from Ipswich, were arrested on suspicion of murder and are in police custody in the town.
Police said it was thought Mr Edwards may have family in Suffolk but officers are also looking at the possibility that he may have links to the Surrey area.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Suffolk Police.
