Men bailed over street robberies in Sudbury

Two men have been released on bail in connection with street robberies in a Suffolk town which left people injured.

A woman was hurt when her bag and phone were taken in Suffolk Square, Sudbury, on 22 December.

An hour later, an injured man was found collapsed in Newton Road and his phone, wallet and watch had been taken.

A man was attacked and his phone stolen on Christmas Eve. Two men, aged 25 and 27, are due to answer bail in February.

A third man, aged 27, was arrested and released on bail on Thursday.

All three are from Sudbury, police said.
