Grenades removed from waste depot in Ipswich

Explosive devices found in a container at a waste recycling depot in Suffolk have been removed.
Police closed the Ipswich household waste centre on Portman Walk in the morning after spent grenades and flares were found at the site.
Buildings in the surrounding area, which is not residential, were evacuated.
Bomb disposal officers found the items were safe to remove and the centre has reopened, said Suffolk County Council.
