Man injured in Ipswich street fight dies in hospital

A man hurt in a fight outside a pub in Ipswich has died in hospital.

The 20-year-old suffered a head injury during the disturbance outside the Smock pub on Maidenhall Approach in the early hours of Sunday.

He died in Addenbrooke's Hospital, Cambridge, on Tuesday morning. A post-mortem examination will be held later.

Two men, aged 35 and 44 and from Ipswich, remain on police bail to return to Ipswich police station on 19 May pending further inquiries.
