Suffolk police officer faces child porn charges

A former Suffolk police officer has been charged with child sex offences.

Former Pc Ian Reynolds, 44, was arrested on Wednesday and has now been charged with 22 counts of making and possessing illicit images of children.

Suffolk Police said they searched a house in Thetford, Norfolk, in March and seized computer equipment.

Mr Reynolds has been released on bail and is due to appear before Norwich magistrates on 3 June. He resigned from Suffolk Police in May.
