Three arrests after Ipswich bank van raid

Three people have been arrested after a cash van was raided near a bank in Suffolk.

Three men grabbed money from a security guard outside Lloyds TSB on Nacton Road, Ipswich, at 12:30 GMT.

Armed police then surrounded a house on London Road, near its junction with Surrey Road.

Two 41-year-old men and a 29-year-old, all from Ipswich, are being questioned at the Ipswich Police Investigation Centre on suspicion of robbery.

The Securior staff member was not injured during the incident.
