Ipswich stabbing: Witness plea to cyclist on CCTV

A cyclist captured on CCTV close to the scene of a stabbing in Ipswich is being sought by police.

A 32-year-old man was found with serious stab wounds at a property in Witney Close just before 05:00 BST on 6 April. Suffolk police are treating the incident as attempted murder.

Five people, all aged in their early 20s, are on police bail until 21 May.

Police said they would like to trace a cyclist seen close to a parade of shops near Witney Close at about 05:00 BST.

He or she was possibly wearing a reflective top and may have information on the incident, police said.

The victim has now been discharged from hospital and is recovering at home.
