Arrest over Newmarket motorcyclist death

A car driver has been arrested after a 17-year-old motorcyclist was killed in Suffolk.

Police said Shaun Cronin's Kawasaki collided with a lamppost on Willie Snaith Road in Newmarket at 17:35 BST on Sunday.

The biker, who was from Newmarket, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police arrested a 30-year-old man on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and he has been released on bail.

Officers said the arrested man was believed to have been driving a VW Bora.
