Inquest into A14 crash victims Christine Taylor and William Taylor

An inquest has been opened and adjourned into the deaths of two relatives killed in a crash on the A14 in Suffolk on 20 August.

Christine Taylor, 59, from Clovelly Road in Coventry, died at the scene after the car she was driving was involved in a crash with two lorries.

Her grandson, William Taylor, 15 of Welsh Road in Coventry, was a passenger in the car and died in hospital.

A date for a full inquest into their deaths has not been set.

The Fiat Punto was travelling on the eastbound carriageway of the A14 when the crash happened near Trimley St Mary.

A second passenger, a man in his 60s, was taken to Ipswich Hospital and later transferred to Addenbrooke's Hospital in Cambridge.

Police said he was in a "critical but stable condition".
