Police investigating the death of a man found in an Ipswich river have released a 20-year-old man on bail.

The body of Peter Ralph, 26, from Ipswich, was found in the River Orwell close to Stoke Bridge skate park on 10 September.

A 20-year-old man, also from Ipswich, was arrested on suspicion of supplying a Class A drug.

He has been released on bail and is due to return to Suffolk Police on 11 December.

Police said Mr Ralph's death was still being treated as unexplained.

Two post-mortem examinations have taken place and the pathologist is awaiting toxicology reports.

It is believed Mr Ralph had been near the riverbank on the afternoon and evening of 9 September.

Detectives would still like to hear from anyone who saw him on that day or on the morning of his death.
